Naina started her career at age 15 working in a shoe shop on weekends and school holidays and what she didn’t know then was that sales would be her area of expertise that I would excel in during her career. As part of her time at university she was awarded a scholarship to learn Japanese and study at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo for a year. The result of this post university was a job at Sony where she spent her next 14 years. Here she was introduced to technology with the number one consumer brand at the time, sales, marketing and finance. Again working with her strengths, she excelled in sales and moved into management.
As other brands started coming into the market Naina moved to a more emerging brand moving from value sales to volume sales in laptops and desktops at Lenovo. High volume, very commercial, high pressure, less relationship based and more about consistency and not taking no for an answer. This was financially a highly rewarding job and after two and a half years she wanted to move back into selling more technical product and managing a more technical team that sold on product hence her move to Midwich. When Naina started at Midwich she didn’t really know these boxes existed and was a little nervous about managing a team that knew more about the product than me but it has been a great fit, they have worked as a team, leaned on each other’s skill sets and grown in different ways.
Naina is 42 years old has three children two girls and a boy and a very supportive husband.

Denise has been working in AV for over 20 years, starting her career as a product demonstrator for Sanyo. She achieved promotion to an Account Manager role where she sold to av resellers and distributors with a successful performance record of growing accounts and hitting sales targets. After 4 years and a brief trip traveling around the world, Denise changed direction and moved into AV recruitment. She retrained and utilised her multi level contact network in the AV industry to become a recruitment specialist. Her business Woop Jobs was founded 11 years ago and has an annual turnover of £250k. Ann joined Saville Group on the 20th May 1992 as a Junior Administrator after being a trainee florist and a painter and decorator. The department consisted of three people including herself and every call she took was someone shouting at her. Eventually she approached the director in the South with a plan to sell maintenance contracts, which he thought sounded like a good idea. Within ten months they had covered the running costs and that year we made money for the first time in the departments history.
From that point there was not stopping her. In 2004 she was promoted to Group Service Manager for the whole of Saville amalgamating the North and the South into one department, introduced a new management system with live sign off and have never looking back. Due to Ann’s continuous success and growth of the Service Department she was offered shares in 2014 and then in 2017 she was invited onto the board of Directors which she couldn’t have been any prouder about. Ann wanted to be a mentor to hopefully make someone else’s journey a little easier than hers.
