Becky left school at 16 and jumped straight into the AV World and joined CDEC as Sales support booking jobs in, invoicing, ordering and deal with customers on a daily basis. She has slowly worked her way up to Purchasing Manager over the last 10 years, and is now making the decisions for the company of who to buy all equipment from for jobs and making savings for the company.
Jemma Zlydneva is a technical support specialist within Biamp’s applications engineering department, and is located in the United Kingdom. Experienced as a products applications engineer and trainer, she was previously with Biamp distributor ARIS Pro in Moscow, Russia, where she provided technical support for the full range of Biamp products.
She’s bilingual in Russian and English and proficient in Chinese. She achieved an MA in Cultorology, Faculty of Oriental Studies / Chinese Culture at the Russian Christian Humanitarian Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia; as well as an MA in Linguistics, Faculty of Philology at the Saint-Petersburg State University. In her spare time, Jemma enjoys singing, playing keyboards and songwriting for various projects.
Barbora is the Marketing Manager for ISE, the world’s largest AV and systems integration exhibition.
Through her work she combines her passion for exhibitions and technology. To keep pace with our dynamic industry she understands that ongoing professional development is crucial. Thus, she regularly takes part in education programs and is a proud holder of AVIXA’s CTS certification.

Anne started her career focused on recruitment and accounts and later spent 10 years at Westpoint Training a company she founded and ran alongside her husband before selling. She started working with CSL Integration in 2005, when they were just a small start-up business providing tailored voice, data and video services to the SME Sector. Thirteen years later, she has had the opportunity to be involved in almost every aspect of the company and recently has taken over as Client Support Manager, which involves managing the service desk, supporting clients, and ensuring service levels. This role has given Anne the opportunity to visit client sites and become more involved in the AV World, which has inspired her to want to learn more about this ever changing and developing industry.
Sally Castro is a Telecommunication Engineer with a major in Audio and Video graduated by the Technical University of Madrid. Currently she is working as Project and Support Engineer at a design company based in London.
She studied and did research on Wave Field Synthesis systems in the Jade University of applied sciences in Germany thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. She has worked on broadcasting and in the entertainment industries in Madrid and London.
She is an eager learner, develops and grows her role in each job she performs. Adaptable, an excellent problem solver, she is looking to innovate and develop new products and projects.
Sammi started working at Pacific in 2012, when she was first taken on as an Internal Sales Support focusing on the education sector. She has grown in a variety of roles in IT and AV, leading her to the most recent success within the company, where she now looks after the team who deal with all our Sales Operations – such as internal account management, new business development, and project communication.
Sammi is passionate about what she does and is a strong believer in giving Pacific customers the best experience first time.
Outside the world of Pacific, Sammi is a mother, fiancée and bulldog owner. She studies nutrition and can often be found running half marathons, bungee jumping or on some form of adventure.
Cristina Zamora Tellez
Cristina has eight years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics across various industries which brought Cristina to the AV business. She joined LUTRON Electronics in London in 2015, to manage the supply chain operations of the company’s growing EMEA business. With the ambition to improve the overall efficiency within the group, Cristina left behind her a handful of now widely adopted key processes. After three years in her role, and having been promoted to Supply Chain Leader, Cristina most recently moved to a customer-facing role in the LUTRON Experience Centre. This last position allows her to perfect her knowledge of the products and the different ways of integration of the many solutions available in the technology industry.
Her motivation to join the WAVE programme is to broaden her knowledge about the AV industry and expand her network in order to share experiences and get career advice.
Faye is a born juggler fairly new to the world of AV, with a background in sales, customer service, operations and project management in the telecommunications and security fields, keeping her head while dealing with challenging situations in crazy-busy environments. Since she joined Kaleidovision, she’s flexed her great organisation and communication skills, helping to steer projects smoothly and without fuss.
After completing A-Levels with a focus on business, Natalie joined CDEC to follow this passion and gain hands-on industry experience. She previously completed work experience with the company and saw the varied opportunities and array of technologies the AV industry had to offer. In her current role Natalie works closely with the sales team, liaising with clients and learning about the different solutions that go into spaces such as classrooms and workplaces. As she is beginning to see that technology can be an enabler in many environments, Natalie is eager to develop her skills and technical knowledge.
With over 20 years’ experience in the Audio Visual and IT supply Channel, working for both reseller and distribution with the majority of time spent working for the manufacturer, Promethean. Liz is experienced in onboarding distributors and developing relationships, building and rolling out Partner Accreditation Programmes and the implementation of key deliverables. She manages a team of Partner Account Managers whilst also working on key projects to improve stats and reporting to assist with strategy and planning for the Management Team.
Mother of three, Grandma of two and when she finds the time to relax she can run quite a distance!
Honey Tavakoli is a first class honours Business and Law graduate from LCA business school under Anglia Ruskin University, who now surprisingly, finds herself loving and enjoying every moment of working within an ever-growing Audio Visual industry. In this increasingly loud and instantaneously digital world, it is often almost impossible to hear your own voice, let alone to stand out and be recognised. Precisely the type of challenge which Honey welcomes, with rare and fervent enthusiasm not often found, especially in one still at the early stages of her career.
With her almost two years’ experience of being a passionately driven and proactive AV specialist at Northamber Plc, combined with an insatiable drive and determination to succeed, she possesses a refreshing awareness and appreciation of some of the many challenges to be faced by one still silently and sometimes not so secretly perceived as being the “wrong” gender, within what is very much a male dominated industry, and for that matter; world. With this experience and wisdom, she views these challenges and more not as barriers, but as an opportunity for true daring to distinguish its self. It is this almost insatiable hunger and determination, complemented by a very intrepid spirit which Honey now brings to her new role as a Reseller Account Manager for LG Electronics. A new chapter she expresses elation of embarking upon, with an eagerness to learn; grasping knowledge and new technology. To make her voice be heard loudly and boldly, all whilst epitomising a very instinctive passion and flair only befitting of this fast-rising star.
Hannah is Business Development Manager for Inspire Audio Visual, a smart Home Company dealing with predominantly residential projects ranging from multi-room audio to whole house systems with dedicated home cinemas. The company work the length and breadth of the UK - in London or Aberdeen one day, Northern Ireland the next. The HQ is in Wetherby, in the heart of Yorkshire, with a London Office.
Every day is different for Hannah and can see her dealing with social media campaigns, health and safety to invoicing and aftercare packages. In her previous work life, she has worked in the Education sector and for the National Trust. Hannah is looking forward to learning more about this industry and meeting people working hard to make it what it is. On a more personal level, she would describe myself as an enthusiastic, positive and versatile individual with good interpersonal skills and a passion for learning.
Emma Bigg runs her own consultancy, Octavius RE, advising a range of clients on AV solutions and project manages her own and other Integrator’s installation projects. Previously she held various roles at SSE Audio Group starting in their hire business in 1999 and setting up their London-based Installations Division in 2006, which she headed up as Installations Director until 2016. Other roles include Technical Production Manager for George P Johnson. She sat on the Production Services Association Council for four years, also serving as Chairwoman for one year. She currently sits on the IOA EA Group Committee and helps organize their annual Reproduced Sound conference. Emma applied for the Mentorship scheme to help her expand her business horizons, get guidance on developing an independent consultancy and professional development.
Beth started her career in IT and AV integration in 2005 at Pacific initially in new business development. Within a year she moved across to support two of the senior Account Managers with their growing volume of accounts. In 2009 an opportunity to work alongside the owner of Pacific as an internal account manager for his accounts became available, making use of the skills learned in the support of the account managers with the biggest Pacific accounts.
After a few years in this role, Beth then helped to transition this into a team function rather than dedicated internal account manager, and once that team was working, moved into her current role as Supplier, Quality and Management Co-ordinator in 2017. This role was created to support the MD with all aspects of quality management, environmental management, supplier management, and compliance with standards. In that time, Beth has been working on upgrading our ISO9001:2008 to 2015, add ISO14001:2015, achieve more CTS qualifications, raise and standardise the levels of H&S training of the field engineers, and driving continuous improvement internally and with Pacific’s supply chain.
Cassie Stuckey is head of Sales and Business Development for Solutions Audio Visual Ltd. Cassie began her career in AV as a Sales Executive at Solutions AV back in 2012. Since then Cassie has grown with the company and now manages the entire Sales and Business Development division.
Cassie has worked with reputable blue chip companies on some major projects including Eurostar across Europe and Greene King throughout the UK. Cassie works closely with her customers to provide them with a truly tailored solution to meet their individual needs. A self-confessed tech geek, Cassie always keeps up-to-date with the latest AV trends and enjoys attending industry trade shows. When she’s not working Cassie loves to socialise, shop and lift weights!
Esther Grove is the Managing Director of Brightsys AV IT - a specialist AV and IT Networks installation company.
Having originally come from Singapore, she studied law at university at the London School of Economics. After university she set up an IT Hardware recycling company with her former partner which they sold after 5 years to a FTSE listed company.
Her most recent venture is Brightsys which is the AV installations division of the Banana Cable Network Cabling group. Banana Cable has been trading since the 1990s but Esther saw the opportunity to branch out into the Audio Visual market and set up Brightsys in 2017 to focus on this growing market.
Brightsys specialises in the Education, Hospitality and Corporate markets with a focus on Visual Displays such as LED Video walls, interactive white boards and projectors.
